僕は南川喜之助。高松の実家の和菓子屋にこの春就職した。
実家の和菓子屋があまりにも老舗過ぎてこんな名前を付けられてしまっている。長男の宿命だ。昔は同級生のスマートなキラキラネームすれすれの名前に憧れたが、大人になった僕は結婚したらやはり長男には重々しい名前を付けるんだろうと思う。
大学を卒業してから普通に就職しようと考えていたものの、ある時家業に興味が湧き、決断したのだ。
それはあるセミナーに参加したことがきっかけだった。

My parents named to me such an ancient sound name, caused of my family business has too much long history…. This is always happened to first boy just like me. I had used be so jealous to other nice and unique names, but I will give long spelled ancient name to my first son like mine.
I thought that I’ll have a job to other company after graduate, not my family business. One day sometime, I decided to takeover my family business. Before that time, it was not interesting for me at all. A business seminar was the trigger to change my mind.
