～桜井製粉イノベーションストーリー第16話～
私は東田定男。桜井製粉の社長だ。我が社は今、大手の参加に飲み込まれる危機に面している。古い体制に一石を投じたくて始めた新プロジェクトが大手に阻まれている。進退窮まったがこれはこのプロジェクトが成功する兆しが認められたことに他ならない。このゼロサムゲームに勝つために、同じフィールドでは戦えない。中小の小回りを利かせた突破口を見つけなきゃならん。
メンバーが今までのデータを洗い出してはいるものの、なかなかこれといって光が見えてこない。大手はもうそこまで迫っている。どうしたものか。。
ふと、親父である会長の手帳を引っ張り出してきた。そもそもなんでミックス粉なんて始めたんだろうと気になったからだ。
このページだ。初めてミックス粉を製品として扱うと書いてある。同じ週に安田さん来社とある。これは商談か？
ん？自衛隊員用食品調達？？これがきっかけ？なるほどな。。。(;^_^A
次の日、主要メンバーを集めた。
「みんな、おつかれさん。今から我が社の方向性を発表する。来週から私は駒田くんとヨーロッパを回ることにした。志水部長はアメリカ担当、タカヒロは東京に行ってくれ。」
「社長、まだこれといった打ち手が見つかってないんですけど。」と心配性のタカヒロ。
「我が社は世界の軍隊にミックス粉を売り込むことにした。」
I’m Sadao Higashida. I’m a president of
Sakurai Milling company. We are face a crisis now. Keep depending or not. The
major is in front of us, cause of our new project is going brake in ordinary
system. I knew it coming someday in the future. And finally it is coming. It
means our project has potential. For the win this zero-sum game, we need to be
game-maker. We need to find the blue ocean for the compact company like us.
The key member is working hard in these
days, but still have nothing yet. We don’t have much time, we need something….
I just have a look my father’s notes who
was chairman and pasted away already. I just wondered that why he started to
have mixed flour product.

saw the name of Yasuda-san who visited him in the same week other day. Did they
have meeting for sales?

this the beginning? Well, I understand…
Then
next day, I had a meeting for the key member.
‘Thanks
everyone. Now I tell you our direction for brake through. Komada-kun and I go
around Europe for a while from next week. Shimizu-san is in-charge of US. And
we have Tokyo for Takahiro.
‘Higashida-san,
we didn’t get any idea yet.’ Takahiro always says negative words as always.
‘Our
new targets are armies in the world.’
