～桜井製粉イノベーションストーリー第17話～
私は東田定男。中小企業の小回りと膨大なラインナップを引っ提げて世界の軍隊に狙いを定めた。メンバーみんなあっけにとられている(^^
「社長、どうして軍隊なんですか？」タカヒロの顔は蒼白だ。笑
「会長の手帳にあったんや。ミックスはそもそも自衛隊から打診されてたんや。その当時はミックスのラインナップは数えるほどで、立ち消えになったけど、今のうちのラインナップは世界一や。しかもメイドインジャパンで安全性は折り紙付きや。軍隊っていうのは食べることだけが楽しみなんや。うちなら毎日違うメニューが提供できるんや。これがいけたら宇宙産業向けにだって行けるぞ！」
「えー？宇宙ですか？ 上手くいけばNASAとも取引できるってことですね~♪」
「そうや、駒田君。NASA行ってもいいんやぞ。少量パック多品種安全がうちの強みや。大手はめんどくさくて手を出しにくいところや。」
「よし、やってみましょう、社長！」と調子のいい駒田を乗せることに成功し、みんなやる気になってくれた。
あれから一年。
アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、東京とアプローチしてきたが、最初にヒットしたのはフランスだった。スープのバリエーションが100を超えることが認められた。軍隊でも美食を求める国なんだなぁと感心した。次は中国。日本製品への信仰ぶりには驚かされる。食品に対しては他国の製品を採用することが常識らしい。
国内では大手から色々横やりを入れられているが、我が社の舞台は世界。粉はどこにでもある。
我が社の新しい歴史は今始まったばかりだ。
I’m Sadao Higashida. I decided to approach
to armies in the world for our mixed flour products. Our big line up of mixed
products can make us win. The member say nothing because of my words which is
too surprising for them.
‘Higashida-san, Why armies for us?’
Takahiro said with his face paled.
‘I’ve got an idea from my father’s notes.
He started the mixed products because of requested by Self defense force. But
at that time, he had small line up. So he couldn’t get it. But now, our line up is the best in the
world. And also safest products in the world as known. Their most enjoyable
thing is eating in their days. They can supply difference meals every day using
our products. It is same thing for the
astronauts!’
‘For astronauts? Nasa can be our client?’
‘Yes, right, Komada-kun. You can visit for
them if you want. Our quality is the best, and no milling company can supply
this kind of small and various packages other than us. The major can do that.
They are too big.’
‘I’m your team, sir!’ So, I success to get
Komada-kun who is the mood maker for other member.
And one year past.
We tried for that to U.S., Europe and
Tokyo. We successful was in the France military as the first. They liked our
over 100 soup variation. They are foodie even for the military. Then Chinese
for the second. They has no doubt for the Japanese quality. It is surprising
for me. They has the standard as they never allow Chinese products for foods.
We have still interrupted from the major
sometime. But we don’t care. Our blue ocean is in the world market. Flour is
commodity in any place.
Now we are making new story…
